4. People in China do are expected to live longer, about 71 years. but from 1990 to 2000 infant mortality rate fell from 65 to 31 percent. Children under-five mortality dropped from 61 to 40 per 1,000 live births. It is an amazing decline, but there are differences in healthcare in the city than in rural areas. For Example= Under-five mortality is just 16.3 in cities, for example, but more than 40 per 1,000 live births in rural areas. China is faceing a big challenge to correct this, this challenge must be overcame to ensure the right of every Chinese child to survival. The next challenge is the need to help emerging issues related to lifestyle, such as HIV and non-communicable diseases. Air pollution is also a major issue making people sick.

they have high levels of pesticides, and some of the water is unsafe to brink unless it is boiled. Health clinics can be found in every village but they are very basic. Also some rural ares refuse foreign people and they don't provide free medical care anymore. Ambulances don't have proper equipment and are not always available. China has experienced problems with its blood supply being infected with HIV, so transfusions should be avoided if possible.

4. China’s and the U.S healthcare systems are very different. Hospitals in the United States must provide emergency medical treatment to people who just walk in and low-income patients can receive reduced or free medicine. Foreigners who reside in the U.S also have a right to free medical treatment as a "walk-in." Patients in China, however, must pay first before receiving medical treatment, and as a result many dying patients are denied much needed medical treatment. Some patients have even died in front of the hospital because of their inability to pay. In 1998, a report disclosed that about one-third of Chinese people were unable to receive medical treatment, with the statistic being higher in poor, rural areas in China.

Diseases have increased in the past few years, Without changes to the current system, more than 500 million Chinese will continue to find medical treatment out of their reach, due to the high cost of seeing a doctor. Improving the healthcare system is important to raiseliving standards.
